Virgin had thoughts of releasing Demolition Man 2 over a year ago, but unfortunately, it didn't make the cut. Unfortunately, most games based on movies are just as tiresome and stupid as the films they're adapted from. Just think about all the games that have featured the likenesses of Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger - Cliffhanger, True Lies, Terminator, Judge Dredd, Last Action Hero, to name a few.

Demolition Man is a great way to spend 90 minutes or so and is certainly how I'd like to remember Sly Stallone in his action prime. The plot may be weak, but it's easy to overlook that when the action scenes are this good. Sandra Bullock shines as the attractive lady who adds some much-needed eye candy to the film. Wesley Snipes also does a great job playing Simon Phoenix, the baddest of bad guys.

The pacing of the film is well done, with three big action sequences that really stand out - the opening scene, the final showdown, and an intense museum-set battle. The comedy factor is high, with plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor to go around. Snipes' character is particularly enjoyable, as he revels in his nasty role.

The film's futuristic take on Los Angeles is also worth noting, where people walk around in robes and the city is a peace-loving society - a far cry from our own world. Overall, Demolition Man 2 (if it ever gets made) promises to be an entertaining and satirical look at what the future might hold.

If you're looking for an action-packed film with plenty of style and humor, Demolition Man is definitely worth checking out. Just don't forget to stock up on some spicy snacks - according to the movie's premise, they're now illegal!
